Your way to SIXT

When you are in the station hall, head to exit Nord - Centre Ville towards tracks 1 and 2, to the left of the "Relay" store. Take the stairs/escalators and go down one floor. Turn left and you will find our SIXT counter 20 meters away, in the lobby with the other car rental companies.

With public transportation

When you arrive by train, do not go upstairs but take the way underground and follow the exit sign. You will find an escalator on your left which will take you to level 0 of the Railway Station NORTH side. Continue straight and our SIXT branch is on the left of Mc Donalds.

Return information

From the city center, take Rue St-Helier, turn right to Boulevard René Laennec, and again right to Boulevard Solférino. From the south side of the city, take Pont St-Hélier and turn left to Boulevard Solférino. SIXT car return is located at level 7 of Parking Effia Gare Nord, 6 Boulevard Solférino, 35000 Rennes, on a designated SIXT parking lot. The car park is closed to public for maintenance and still open for rental cars. Enter the code 6060 at the entrance to the car park. Please drop the keys directly at the SIXT branch (or in our key box if our branch is closed) located at level 0 of the train station, just in front of McDonalds.

I am changing my original review, as our experience was quite good but in the end there was a billing discrepancy for which we were contacted and reimbursed. The car itself was great, the car seats for our children were perfect, and the price was reasonable. We also appreciate that Lauren called and rectified our issue within 24 hours. We would recommend renting from this location.
