When you leave the SNCF and bus station through the main exit, walk about 50 meters, keep left and cross Avenue Anita Conti. The SIXT branch is located on the left next to the Mercure hotel.
By car
Coming from the D137, turn right onto Avenue Maurice Callame. At the end of Avenue Maurice Callame, go straight on until the roundabout and take the third exit: you are now on Avenue Anita Conti. The SIXT branch is just a few meters on the left, just before the next roundabout. The car park with barrier is on the right at the same roundabout. Park the vehicle in the SIXT spaces as indicated in the on-site instructions.
By foot from the city centre
Take Avenue Louis Martin opposite Porte St Vincent towards the SNCF station (1 km). The SIXT branch is 50 m from the station exit on the left, next to the Mercure hotel.
Return information
Park the vehicle in the Effia car park, which you can access via Rue d'Anjou. You received the access code from the SIXT branch.

There was no-one at the Sixt counter when we arrived which was slightly disappointing as they knew we were coming but after ringing the contact number, somebody was with us within 5 or 6 minutes. The pick up procedure was very straightforward and the agent was very friendly and helpful. The agent didn't walk around the car with us to confirm any damage instead he explained where the damage was and advised us to take pictures as a backup in case of any dispute. The area where the car was parked isn't too far away from the ferry terminal but could be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. I don't think the car was the exact model I'd ordered but it was in good condition, very comfortable and easy to drive. We returned the car a week later. The procedure was to park in the same car park area (entry code required) and return the keys to the ferry terminal. There was nobody at the desk when we got back so we posted the keys in the drop box. All in all, pretty happy with the experience and would hire from that Sixt location again.
