Rented the first model, Honda Etios after reading reviews from Localiza and Sixt. Localiza is cheaper but i was turned off by some bad comments and as it was the first time driving in Paraguay i did not want to take risk. I opted for full insurance as i drove 1300 km over 9 days. It was a good move as a car at a petrol station just went reverse and bumped into our front. Yes, in Paraguay many folks drive badly and you should be ready for anything. The car was not adapted to some dirt roads. I suggest you to take a higher car if you have to go into some third tier roads (first tier, highway, second tier, common road, third tier, dirt roads). Gabriella was nice. Very important... take videos and pic of the car before you rent. Do not just let them write down the scratches. I actually don't know why the rental staff don't do this for transparency purpose. The car screen couldn't connect to my android so Gabriella lent us a phone holder. Alex handled our drop off on a fiesta day (thanks Alex). I cleaned the car for USD 2 next to the airport and then they bill you USD 8 for cleaning (ridiculous!). I think the price could be slightly lower.
