What is SIXT Connect?

With a SIXT Connect device, you get access to a super fast, Wi-Fi hotspot. It will provide you with a 4G connection for up to five devices. In addition to the hotspot, you also get GPS, a city guide, and a language translator. SIXT Connect Plus has the added feature of unlimited local calling and up to 60 minutes per day of international phone calls. This service can be added to your car rental at selected SIXT locations.

How can I book a car rental with Wi-Fi?

Add SIXT Connect or Connect Plus to your rental when booking online. Add-ons can be added during the second booking step, after you have chosen your vehicle. If you aren’t sure whether or not you will need it, that’s OK! You can also add this option to your rental at the counter when picking up your vehicle.

Does SIXT Connect have additional features?

This Wi-Fi hotspot for your rental car not only keeps you connected on your smartphone, but also on other wireless devices like  laptops and tablets. You can also benefit from easy navigation in your SIXT car rental with the included Google Maps app. We also offer you a tourist guide where you can find information on top attractions and destinations near your car rental location. If you don’t speak the local language, we also assist you with any potential communication issues with a pre-loaded voice and text language translator app. And if that’s not enough, you can enjoy other included features like social media apps and a currency calculator in your SIXT rental car with Wi-Fi.
