Best for Quick Trips
Of course, you can take any of our vehicles for a quick drive, but if you want something small and efficient for 1 or 2 people, try these.
MINI: Featuring 4 seats, the 3-door hatchback from Mini allows you to put the back seat down for more cargo space. The transmission can be automatic or manual.
VW Golf sedan or wagon: Both feature 5 seats and 5 doors with a hatchback, but you will get more cargo room in the VW wagon. The transmission can be automatic or manual.
Seat Leon sedan and wagon: Much like the VW, the Seats each have 5 seats and 5 doors with back seats that flip down, but the wagon has a more spacious cargo area. They are also automatics and manuals.
Renault Zoe: With 4 seats and 3 doors, this is a good option for a quick trip where you don’t need to haul something. It comes in automatic and manual.
Hyundai i10: This mini-car has 5 seats and 5 doors with enough room to haul something small in the back with the seats put down. You can find this Hyundai in automatic or manual transmission.
Best Family Cars
If you don’t need extra storage space, a sedan might be for you. Whether you need space for 4 adults or a couple of kids, these fit the bill. And they have roomy trunks for your groceries or anything else you might need to pick up.
Audi A4 Avant: This roomy luxury sedan features seating for 5 and 4 doors, plus all of the bells and whistles you would expect in an Audi. It comes in both automatic and manual transmission.
VW Passat: A spacious sedan that seats 5 with 4 doors, you can comfortably fit 4 adults in the Passat. The transmission comes in manual or automatic.
Skoda Octavia: With seating for 5 and 4 doors, the Octavia can comfortably seat 4 adults. It comes in automatic or manual transmission.
BMW 1 Series: Class up your family outing with this 5-door model that seats 5 and has the latest technology you expect in a BMW. Available in automatic and manual.
VW Golf Sportvan: Slightly larger than a VW Golf, the Sportvan has room for your family and everything they want to bring with. The 5-door hatchback seats 5 and comes in automatic and manual.
Best for Sun and Fun
Sometimes when you book a car-sharing vehicle you want something a little more special. For nice summer days, you can book a convertible, put the top down and enjoy the sun. Or take a sporty 5-door out for a spin.
MINI Convertible: This one is perfect for a romantic cruise around the city for 2 people. The 4-seater with 2 doors also has room in the back for anything you might pick up along the way. It comes in automatic and manual.
Audi A3 Convertible: You get both a sporty feel and fun with this larger 2-door convertible with seating for 4. It comes in automatic and manual.
Audi A3 Sportback: If you want a premium, sporty car with room for multiple people, plus ample cargo space, this is for you. The A3 Sportback features 5 seats, 5 doors and comes in automatic or manual.
Best for Cargo and Extra Space
We’ve all been there: You need to go pick up furniture or something large or heavy but don’t have a car. Or maybe you need to move a few things from one apartment to another. That’s when an SUV or cargo van comes in handy, and luckily for you, we have both in the SIXT share fleet.
Audi Q2: This 5-seat crossover SUV with 5 doors is great for driving in the city. Being a luxury model, you can also enjoy riding in comfort. Available in manual and automatic.
BMW X1: Do you need to go to IKEA and pick up a bunch of flat-packed furniture? This SUV with 5 seats and 5 doors is perfect for that job, or something else where you need a lot of cargo space. Available in manual and automatic.
BMW X2: This crossover SUV has a smaller footprint than the X1, but still more room than a traditional car. It seats 5 with 5 doors and ample cargo space. Comes in automatic or manual transmission.
MINI Countryman: Perhaps the perfect city car for getting something bulky home, the Countryman seats 4 and has 5 doors. The back seats flip down, giving you plenty of cargo space. Available in manual and automatic.
VW Transporter: If you have to move something large but only need a van for an hour, we offer the Transporter. It’s easier than organizing an all-day van or truck rental, plus you don’t have to return it anywhere other than the nearest parking spot!
