Our SIXT app offers maximum mobility in all situations worldwide. So that you can also use our app with any smartphone, it is also now available in the Huawei AppGallery. This makes the SIXT app the first car rental and car sharing app in the AppGallery in Germany.
To celebrate the launch of the SIXT app in the Huawei AppGallery, there is a special extra for users of Huawei smartphones and tablets: Those who install the app via the Huawei AppGallery will receive an exclusive voucher for SIXT share or SIXT rent.
Why is this important?
We strive for ease and availability. We’re there to offer transportation solutions with branches in over 100 countries. SIXT also wants to be accessible online and be easily reached on every device across all platforms. Due to the ongoing trade disputes between the USA and China, all new Huawei smartphones must rely on an unlicensed Android system.
As a result, there is no longer a Play Store or Google app store on the new Huawei smartphones. The SIXT app uses some Google services like Google Maps. However, people who own modern Huawei smartphones like the P40 do not have access to the Google Play Store and have not been able to use the SIXT app so far.
In order to guarantee our customers our usual service, the SIXT app is now available in the Huawei AppGallery.
