YOUR SIXT+ CAR SUBSCRIPTION
WHAT BENEFITS ARE INCLUDED IN THE MONTHLY RATE? WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE CARE OF?
Specifically, we take care of all of the following for you:

- MAINTENANCE & WEAR: The subscription covers all standard preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations. Please be aware that while this includes normal wear and tear, the subscriber is financially responsible for any physical damage resulting from accidents.
- MONTHLY CANCELATION OPTION: You can cancel your subscription anytime by returning the vehicle.
- MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY: Add many extras like additional mileage or a child seat at any time before or during your subscription.
- INCLUDED MILEAGE: Basic free mileage package. Upgrade monthly according to your needs.
- PREMIUM FLEET & LATEST MODELS: Choose from our premium models and always get a vehicle from the current or previous model year.
- IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY: Start your subscription as early as tomorrow. Only one day advance booking time.
WHAT OTHER COSTS CAN OCCUR ON TOP OF THE MONTHLY RATE?
In addition to the monthly rate, you will be responsible for a one-time enrollment fee charged at the time of booking. This fee is in consideration for your right to participate in the SIXT+ program.
When renting a rental car, it is also common to leave a deposit as security for the rental car. This deposit amount is reserved on the means of payment upon collection and depends on the rented vehicle group. After the first rental term, the deposit will be released to your payment method.
You are also responsible for any fees and penalties as enumerated in each rental agreement, unless such a specific fee or penalty is specifically excused by the terms and conditions (the "Miscellaneous Fees"). These include but are not limited to tolls, speeding tickets, parking tickets, etc.
IS THERE A MINIMUM CONTRACT PERIOD?
The minimum term is one month, or more precisely 30 days. The SIXT + Auto subscription runs very flexibly and is billed in 30-day periods. When you begin your SIXT+ car subscription, you will drive your car, at the subscription fee specified upon booking, from the start date you defined for 30 days. If you decide to return your car within this period, your SIXT+ car subscription will be terminated after one month.
If you want to continue using the vehicle, just keep driving. Your subscription then simply continues to run and is automatically extended for another 30 days for as long as you want.
HOW LONG CAN I CONTINUE TO DRIVE MY SIXT+ CAR?
No matter how long you use our SIXT+ car, your vehicle will be replaced every 12 months at the latest, because your safety and the condition of the vehicles is important to us.
Depending on the mileage or holding time of your current vehicle, it can be required to be replaced with another, equivalent vehicle, i.e. one that corresponds to the contractually-agreed vehicle group. You will be informed well in advance about the necessary vehicle exchange by the responsible SIXT branch, and we will arrange an appointment for you to exchange. You don't have to worry about anything, and you get a new, clean, perfectly-maintained, and safe car of the same category.
There is no additional charge for a vehicle exchange, as long as you stick to the agreed date.
SIXT can terminate the contract in case of breach with the terms and conditions upon written notice.
CAN I TAKE THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE STATE OF RENTAL?

WHY DO I NEED TO PAY A ONE-TIME SIGN-UP FEE?
The sign-up fee, which you only pay once – at the beginning of your subscription, is in consideration for your right to participate in the SIXT+ program.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO SUBSCRIBE AND DRIVE A SIXT+ CAR?
The minimum age to subscribe to SIXT+ is 21, unless otherwise required by law, and the driver must have a valid U.S. driver's license. Some vehicle groups may be age restricted. Young drivers fees may apply.
HOW MANY SIXT + SUBSCRIPTIONS CAN I HAVE?
You can only have one active SIXT+ subscription at a time. Of course, you can have an unlimited number of subscriptions one after the other if you prefer even more variety.
Can I cancel my booking before starting the subscription?
A prepaid booking may be cancelled before the start of the rental. If you cancel your SIXT+ subscription prior to picking up the vehicle or, if applicable, prior to delivery, any refund of the payment made will have a deduction that constitutes the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will never exceed the total prepaid amount.
- Cancellations made up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time will result in the collection of a one-hundred-dollar ($100) cancellation fee excluding taxes.
- Cancellations made within the twenty-four (24) hour period of the scheduled pick-up time will result in a two-hundred-dollar ($200) cancellation fee.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after the scheduled pick-up date and time. All other termination policies can be found in section 14 of the Terms and Conditions.
