Choose your vehicle on the map, unlock it through the app and off you go!
RENTING E-scooters IS SO SIMPLE
DRIVE CAREFULLY
Please always be attentive in traffic, follow the traffic rules and be considerate of pedestrians, cyclists and cars! For your own safety, we recommend wearing a helmet while driving. This is not provided by SIXT and our partner TIER.
START E-SCOOTER
After you have unlocked your e-scooter via the SIXT app, first place one foot on the running board and push off with the other foot to accelerate. Then stand with both feet on the running board.
DRIVE
Use the acceleration lever on the right handle to gain speed. Use the brake levers or foot brake on the rear wheel to slow down or stop your speed.
END THE JOURNEY
After the ride, please park the e-scooter safely in the business area. Follow the parking rules and do not block the way for pedestrians. Open the SIXT app to lock the e-scooter and end the rental. In the app you can immediately see how long you have rented the scooter.
Frequently asked Questions
SIXT share is a mobility platform that offers a flexible transition: from renting per minute to several days. Simply rent an e-scooter spontaneously in the business area using your smartphone, unlock it and drive off.
To use SIXT share, you need the latest version of the SIXT app. In the "SIXT share" tab you can see all available electronic scooters in the business area. You can rent these via the app and drive off straight away. You can end the rental within the business area.
- Registration in the SIXT app required.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- No driving license is necessary.
- Deposit a valid credit card in the SIXT app.
- For your own safety, we recommend that you always wear a helmet. Depending on the applicable road traffic laws, wearing a helmet may be compulsory.
Before you set off on an electronic e-scooter, please do a quick check. Make sure the brakes are working properly, the handlebars are secure, and there is no other visible damage.
