How do I start my ride with the emmy e-moped?

The start of the scooter depends on the specific scooter model you are using in your city. Here is a short video tutorial.

  • NIU scooters come in red, white, and green colors.
  • Yadea scooters are available in red color.

Can I pause my ride with an e-moped?

Yes, you can pause your rental during the ride using the app. During the parking function, the e-moped cannot be moved. Details about the price per minute of parking can be found here.

How do I end the rental?

  • Ensure you are within the business area. The rental cannot be ended outside the business area, which is highlighted in red on the map.
  • Make sure you're not blocking public paths, public transport stops, driveways, or building entrances.
  • Do not park on private property or in backyards.
  • Specific parking rules for each city can be found here.
  • Note: In Berlin, there are separate parking rules: parking on sidewalks, walkways, or bicycle parking areas is prohibited.
  • Place the e-moped on the side stand (NIU and Yadea).
  • Place the helmets in the helmet box.
  • Firmly close the helmet box and click "end rental" in the app. When you hear the familiar "click" sound, the helmet box has been successfully locked, and your rental is ended.

I can't end my rental, what should I do?

Please check if you have followed these steps when ending the rental:

  • Are you within the business area?
  • Is the scooter fully on the stand?
  • Are all helmets in the helmet box?
  • Try pressing the helmet box firmly again (ensure no straps etc. are between contacts and the box is completely closed).
  • If you still can't end the rental via the app, contact emmy customer service.

How do I report damage to the e-moped?

If you notice any damage, please click on "damage" in the app. There you will see a list of all damages already reported for the scooter. If the damage is not listed, please report it via email.

What should I do if I need assistance (e.g., in the case of a traffic violation or similar incident)?

Please contact the emmy customer service immediately by phone. Important vehicle documents of the e-moped can be found in the helmet box under the black inlay.

The final price of my booking is incorrect, what can I do?

For questions regarding billing, please contact the emmy customer service.

How much does my ride with the emmy e-moped cost?

The ride is billed per minute. Additionally, there is an activation fee. Details about the fees can be found here.
