The legal speed limit on the Turnpike is 75mph making it possible to drive from Tulsa to downtown Oklahoma City in less than 90 minutes. It has also has interchanges near the following Oklahoma cities: Welston, Chandler, Stroud, Bristow; and near Kellyville and Sapulpa.

Stop at the Turnpike’s famous Will Rogers Archway, a service plaza located between the toll plaza and the Vinita exit featuring a 29,135-square-foot (2,706.7 m2) McDonald's spanning the turnpike.
